I waste my time (or I don't do much) when I'm feeling lazy or in the mood to do more stuff that just brings personal gratification other than visible results like... studying for school which is more of a task.

I spend allot of time gaming and watching porn. Sometimes just watching tv, but to me time I enjoyed wasn't really wasted. And who really can go trough life never taking a breather? Rushing trough life imo will not make me a happier man.
