...that people around my age don't seem to be looking for relationships? I'm really confused. I mean I am only 18, but still I feel like I'm kind of over the whole partying and free wheelin thing.

You`re over the partying? Awww! LET`s PARTY!!!!!! :) I`m 28 and yeah, sometimes I so want a relationship and all but stop partying? Nah! I guess I want to "live" my adolescence when I did NOT party until I was 18+ :( And dunno if I`m "made" to be in a stable relation...:| I love my freedom...don`t get me wrong, I tried once and it was so awful ...I couln`t even stay 10 mins in front of the computer: what are you doing? Leave the computer! Where are you going? Why are you 2 minutes late?? Why are you looking at that girl? Why are you doing that? Blah!

It`s just a phase man :) It will pass :) You`re going through an existential phase...When you`ll realize you`re young and after a few good years you`ll regret you didn`t have all the fun you could have...when you`ll realize you`ll have to start working, maintain yourself, pay bills go to work everyday and you barely have enough money to buy yourself a darn monitor or something for yourself you`ll think at the past and say to yourself: Oh, shit, I so wish I went to that party...I so wish I did that and that...how I regret not doing that...how I wish I could turn back time to do that and that...

Just like how, I regret that I didn't study more and work at school more when I was younger.

You are always going to have regrets, no matter what you do.

So this is maybe THE question:

Is it better to regret something you have done, or something you haven't done??

I suppose that would depend on what that "something" is and the person in question.

I think the answer is: better to regret something you HAVE done...if it`s not a very bad thing...like murder or similar... If it`s about partying, having a bit of coca or mari or E...better to regret having done it ...my opinion

I think the answer cannot be generalized so; people have different taste and what works for you is not necessarily going to work for the next person. You know; different strokes for different folks.

All in all though, I think it is better, that when it comes to regret, to go easy on oneself. Life is a series of choices and you can't expect yourself to always make the right one.

Well, 2 romantic guys dont necessarily make a couple...there still needs to be a bond...but it does help if 2 guys think alike along those lines.

I felt just like you when I was your age Seph. I was lucky and did find someone I spent a long time with when I was 20...the party didnt stop there..it just got better cause I loved being together with someone. I think its true most guys your age are not into settling down and being into a relationship..I think that holds true for guys much older. All you can do, is feel how you do, be who you are and one day soon, I hope, you will find someone who feels just like you. It usually happens when you least expect it.

Yeah I don't want the party to stop, I just want somebody to hold me up while I drunkenly trudge around :thumbs up:. Everyone seems to say that you'll stumble upon it, but I'm scared I'm not looking in the right places? I dunno :?

If you look you often won't find! It's because you want to find that makes you look in the wrong places.

Enjoy life and don't expect, then one day you'll get a pleasant surprise! It seems to happen like that for a lot of people, and has always for me on the few occasions I've been interested in persuing that avenue ;)
