Henry VIII also had many STDs and other health problems along with that power lol. It was highly likely that he died of a STD or some kind of STD related death along with other health problems at the time lol.

Just for one reason:
I hate having extremely limited or no privacy and being King or Queen would include that.

Not true. The various European monarchies are all obscenely wealthy, and believe it when I say they have powerful political and banking interests.

Princess Diana convinced Clinton to intervene in matters concerning the land mine industry (mega-money) and some conjecture it is the reason she was assassinated... but we will never know for sure.

There is this myth that the electorate elect politicians who then look after their interests! If so, why do 1% of the world population control 40% of it's wealth?? And last I checked money is power, and monarchies still have pots and pots and pots of both! Not a comforting or a politically correct scenario, but it rings true?

Oh I don't doubt any of that - democracy is simply an illusion to appease the masses. The real power is behind the scenes, but it's always been that way and nothing the little people do will ever change that!!

It's best to just focus on your own little corner and not think about it!! Some of us with enquiring minds will always do though!
