Where would you most like to be when the "balls" drop at midnight on New Years Eve?

VOTE FOR 3.

If you've been to any of them before and have any insight or a good story, do tell....

Not only that my gorgeous gambler, but dam its cold in NYC and the security makes it soooooo not a friendly place....since 9/11 its made getting even close to Times Square almost impossible unless you camp out 3 days in advance...or unless you've already been successful in crashing a Presidential State Dinner...

I went to Times Square once as a wee youngster and it was soooo great then...OMG it was so crowded, so cold but I felt nothing but being groped in which case I started groping....I loved it and it was no doubt one of those cherished moments in my life....not sure about now though...I say head south to Rio or Sydney....Ole

Although I voted , in reality I just love being at home New Years Eve out of preference. I like to avoid the excessive crowds!

Amen to that, X...although if I was given a free ticket to a warm weather destination...I might just take it....otherwise I'm with you....lol

Um... as someone who actually LIVES in NYC, let me be the first to say it's not that bad to sit out in Times Square and watch the ball drop. It's a bit crowded and it's hard to get around all of those people; but it's really not that tough.

My three choices: London, Las Vegas and Sydney. :)
