But to the point -
well yes, there is a bunch of reasons or stories, whatever, behind my username. First of all, let´s skip "9" and just look at "Gorgik". This is a small
hommage to one of my big favs in contemporary writing, Samuel R. Delany. Gorgik is a main charakter in Delany´s series of sword&sorcery-stories
The Return to Nevèrÿon, published in four volumes 1979-1988. Gorgik was captured and made a slave as a young boy, but many years later, he starts an uprising and puts an end to the institution of slavery in the pre-historical world of Nevèrÿon. He becomes Gorgik the Liberator.
But now we go back to my username, and spell it like this : Gorgi-k9 !
In the ancient and totally ficticious language - yes, whisper, we´re back to linguistics again, remember ? - of the equally ficticious Rulvyn Island, the word "gorgi" means genitalia, and the word is used for both male and female genitalia, both cock and pussy. So there´s a sexual ambivalence in the very name of the great hero Gorgik - his name means something like "cockpussy" or "prickcunt" or "pussyprick" or..., which is very apt, since he´s a) bisexual, and b) alternating top and bottom with guys.
And "k9" of course is a very common abbreviation for canine=dog. So Gorgik9 could be "doggycock" or "bitchpussy". Which is how I feel every now and then, like a horny dog. Or bitch. And I can´t decide if it´s one or the other. The point of "gorgik9" is, that
I don´t have to decide.
And then, naughty girl, I´m a naughty boy : I think it´s so fun that people on GH (and some other places on the net) can talk about "gorgik9" not having the faintest clue what they´re talking about
