001.txt 002.txt and so on... HOW KAN I JOIN This VID-PARTS?

I have some vid-parts "avi.001.txt", "avi.002.txt", "avi.003.txt" and so on. Which program joins them? I am Mac-user.

if their last extension is .txt, I think you need to rename the file in the way that the last extension will be .001, .002 etc. And Use what SlimJim advice you. HJsplit. I think they named the files .avi.001.txt as a file hosting deleting prevention. Like they do when they name their rars: xxx.avi.html

Couldnt agree more, remove the .txt and try HJJoin

If your unable to remove the .txt because it wont let you do the following.

1. open up my computer
2. click on tools and then folder options
3. click on view tab
4. Uncheck Hide Extensions for known file types
5. Click apply, then ok

Try removing the .txt then using either F2 key or right clicking and selecting Rename.

FOR WINDOWS USERS:

File ending .001, .002: use HJSplit to join
File ending .part01.rar: use Winrar to join

FOR MAC USERS:

File ending .001: use Split & Concat to join
File ending .part01.rar: use UnrarX to join
