The lies are stunning - they state it as fact that homosexuality is contagious - no medical study has EVER shown that, it was a lie then and it's a lie now. The homophobia is understandable for the era, but the bald-face lie is not.

I actually saw this one in high school but a generation or so after its era. It was shown to give a historical perspective to sex and health education in public schools. They also showed us a bunch of old anti drug propaganda films of kids smoking marijuana. Those were pretty funny.

What was even more ridiculous was they used the same actors in each film. One day they were pot heads, The next was experimenting with pills, the next they were drunks, the next having sex all over the place. Same actors in each one.

Yep, REEFER MADNESS was the name of that flic, and it's still a cult classic. All of those anti drug and anti-sex films were done with the help of the LAPD, and produced by the same people who created the legendary TV cop show, "Dragnet".
