a quick one in a public place?

Hi there,
I recently went to a public place, a museum. I saw A guy I was very attracted to. Followed him a bit. Then I approached him asked where he was from. And then... didn't ask anything more. I was very nervous and couldn't pass the treshold, I suppose.
How would you have played it? offered a BJ straightforward?

Your in a museum, why not talk about art? Then perhaps, suggest another exhibit and offer to take him. Maybe coffee or lunch afterwards...

Then if things work out, give him head in the backseat of a cab...

What sometimes works is to say "Nice jeans". (Or "nice shirt", or "nice trousers", or whatever he's wearing.) You may or may not think they're nice, it's just a conversation starter. Straight men don't often comment on each other's clothing, so he may take that as a hint that you are kind of interested. It's fairly safe, because if he does start to take offence, you can say truthfully that you were just commenting on the item of clothing.

Honestly, I can tell you, if he IS on the lookout for some "action", he'll take the opportunity; he'll comment on what you're wearing, or he'll move closer to show you some feature of the gear, or something like that. If he's not, he'll just possibly look a bit awkward, or simply respond to what you said and not take it any further. You'll know whether he wants to do something or not.

Saying straight out what you want is probably not a good idea with a stranger in a place like that. You risk getting a fist in the face, or at least a filthy look. Even if he IS gay and open to it, a very forward approach like that could well freak him out, especially if he's a little unsure.
