A thought provoking question

Hey Guys:

This question was brought to my attention over the Memorial Day weekend and I thought it would be interesting to share it with the forum to share your thoughts/opinions in regard to this.

A friend of mine had asked me... "What lessons or lesson in life that you have learned at this phase of your life that you did not know in your younger years
that if you had the opportunity to talk to the younger version of you, which one of those lessons would you advised or share?" :thinking:

To be honest I would share with my younger self that being gay is a fine thing, and that God made me this way and to love myself as I am. Not to go and do things to fit in with others, but to just be the person I was meant to be.

I would have told to my younger self to stay the hell away from my first crush.... LoL

Jokes apart... I would ask him to let things go. A lot of years I have wasted in thinking too much about what others felt/thought about me. I still do it now, but rarely.


But I also know that being a shit stubborn kid that I was, I would not have listened to the older me back then and continued the same way.

I would tell the younger me to forego higher income and stability and follow his dreams. Only the young have the energy, patience and time to do that.

I would tell young Tonka "Take advantage of every opportunity. You think these chances will come up again and again. You can do it next time. Foolish boy".

Things younger me should have listened to: "School's important but for fucks sake go outside and play. B's are fine now and again!"
