A visit from Jehovah's Witness...

To set this up I must first explain that my house is a few blocks away from the river and this weekend was "Shriner's Fest", a fundraiser/carnival with an air show that we have at the river front every year.

My mother who lives with me, is 70 years old and wheelchair bound and today during the air show she answered a knock at the door. It was a couple of Jehovah's Witness doing their recruitment thing. Normally my mother is polite, listens to their speech, takes the pamphlets and says have a nice day.

Today as they started their spiel, she cuts them off, points to the sky and says...

"Thank you, but I'm fine and I must be doing something right 'cause Gods smiling down at me"...

Then she closed the door on them...

Bless her. I always say to Religious knockers that I'm inspired by Adam and Eve... Especially Adam and that they are welcome to come inside for glorious nakedness as God created...Yet so few take me up on my offer !!!

We tell them we are Gay and Pagan and we haven't been bothered in years. When we first starting telling them that years ago they would always walk by our place on the other side of the road when they came by.
