And YouTube isn't my main sources of information...
LOL. I didn't mean YOU going to youtube. :blushing:
I haven't missed that you are historian and read the one or the other thesis. Based on that I was talking about the situation, when you are a serious scientist and meet people, who got their "knowledge" from youtube and are not just totally resistent to ratio but consider you especially untruthworthy just because you have studied.
It was in no way an insult and if it seemed like one I am deeply sorry. :big hug:
I could indeed go back in my sources and provides you with names, in fact do a very quick search on all thesis written about the Egyptian and than Israelites and you can come to your own conclusion.
If I had personal interest about this specific question I would ask you to. You don't have to search for names, do that, when there is a topic that interests me more. I might have asked if it was about the New Testament, which interests me more intellectually.
I'm sceptical with atheist websites but also with catholic sites or works that come from catholic institutes (and any other religious research).
I personally consider the Bible as a book, that is more or less loosely based on historical events, that are have thick layers of "religionization" over them. If it comes to the plagues or the 40 years in the desert, aaahm... yes, I bet that was the first CNN report in history. :thumbs up:
