Haiduci, I feel your pain!

I have a northern cardinal trumpeting his territorial call right outside my freaking window at 4:45 AM every morning for the past two weeks. His call is so shrill that it sounds like a car alarm. I can hear the damn thing even if I close my windows!!! I have gone so far as to download the call of a hawk to broadcast outside to scare his feathered-ass away. . .but don't think I have the heart to use it! But seriously, 4;45 AM - come on!

I sympathise too. Not sure how loud a cardinal is but I once lived where there were peacocks....
