anonymizer question

hi!

I just noticed that the urls in 1 of my posts had been anonymized by a mod or admin...then I read the rules again and I was wondering if that applies to ALL external urls? the urls I posted weren't to any other porn sites, just to a couple pages on the Apple site...

btw, the link in that anonymizer rule for "help" doesn't work - a 404 error comes back when it's clicked on...

You'll have to anonymize any external link, and here's the anonymizer I use myself Anon URL

Yes it applies to all links, the rule is there for security purposes. As I understand it this sets up a kind of firewall preventing GH being exposed.

It may not matter for some external sites but rather than listing which ones can and can't the simplest way is to have a blanket rule of all sites. It would be far to time consuming for the staff to monitor on a site by site basis.

just keep it simple:

every link who goes outside GH and who does not lead to a Filehost or Imagehost has to be anonymized... thats all.

Those two are the only allowed anonymizers.
