Is there some kind of law I don't know about? That every attractive, semi-attractive, modestly attractive man under the age of 45 has to have an erotic picture of themselves on the internet???

There are so many, many gorgeous images of men on Tumblr. -And I should know, this month I officially passed 5 million jpegs saved. -!

The operative word being 'saved.' I probably have only looked at lest than .0005% of them. It's a bad habit. I hit a Tumblr page, crank up the Web ripper app...... then watch the images scroll by as they download. I imagine it would be more fun to read the copy that goes with, but it takes time to flip from page to page, waiting for it to upload, moving past uninteresting filler. But gosh. Such lovely stuff.

I have to say there's some odd stuff out there....
People sneak underage porn in their blogs. Gross.
The Nazi stuff has a creepy vibe to it. Even though I love skin heads and rough looking guys.
And the hardest to follow are the blogs with scat images. When a guy blogs 'kink' on Tumblr, they are not talking the vanilla stuff you see on your average porn site.

But if you have an itch, there is a world of Tumblrs out there to scratch it. The Ben Cohen T page was a thrill. Love the Military amateur stuff. One would think 'wrestling' would lead to more interesting stuff... but not so much. The Ginger pages are out of this world spectacular. So many gorgeous men! I swear there is another Law in the Universe that having red pubes means you HAVE to be stunning hot.

Is it true that Tumblr changed its policy and that it is no longer allowed to UPLOAD adult videos THROUGH the Tumblr Video Upload feature? A Tumblr account that I follow posted this message from Tumblr:

"Uploading Sexually Explicit Video. You can embed anything in a Tumblr post as long as it’s lawful and follows our other guidelines, but please don’t use Tumblr’s Upload Video feature to upload sexually explicit video. We’re not in the business of hosting adult-oriented videos (and it’s fucking expensive)"

Didn't Yahoo know how much adult stuff was being uploaded on Tumblr before they bought Tumblr?

Hi Arnaud,

No joke. That seems like an outrageous number but it's actually pretty easy to hit. My friends kid me that there is a massive gravitational pull from my porn collection.

Back in the day, I would grab images off the net one at a time. But that has since been replaced by using Web ripper. A pretty nifty, free app off the web. Our average Tumblr blog has between 4k and 8k worth of jpegs on it. It takes Web ripper only 15 minutes or so to pull them off the web and into a download folder. I may average 10 to 15 trips to Tumblr a week, so at 80k a week, the numbers add up fast.

Web ripper will also pull gifs and videos off a site. Although the video option does not seem to work; at least not with my computer. Your average DVD will hold about 50,000 jpegs. And I can feel them pulling on my shirt as I write. A few more downloads and I might be able to drop a cup and have it fall sideways from the gravitational pull.

God knows, I'm already in orbit around the stuff. Loves my porn.

I have the download thing down. But I have not looked into file management, other than buying an Ipad and discovering it was useless for my data collection. No USB port? No file reader????? Whaat?

What little I've looked at I've used Picasa. When I find some time from downloading, I'll have to look into this.
