I'm single. As for why, well, first of all I just came out about two weeks ago (I'm 21 now). Secondly, I live in Utah, which is not a great place for we homosexuals to be. I'll probably move once I'm done with school.

Utah isn't really gay friendly because the state is largely, um, I suppose influenced would be the correct word, by the Mormon church. A rather large percentage of the state belong to their congregation. It's not like they go around stoning gay people or anything; but you can tell that if they could get away with it, they would probably throw you off a bridge. It's just not a widely accepted thing, especially in smaller cities like the one I live in.

been in relationship for almost 9 years now. We spent all of our teenage together in 1 relationship and I'm proud of it.

Well, it helps that my parents are really supportive of me. Also, my family isn't very religious, so I don't have to worry about that. I guess the phrase "came out" is a bit too loose. I'm not a stereotypical gay person, you probably wouldn't know it from just being around me. Also, I don't go around flaunting it. If someone brings it up I'm not ashamed or anything to admit to it, but I don't go looking for trouble, if you will. It takes a lot of determination and contemplation to accept yourself as anything different from the norm in a place like Utah, but it can be done.

Sometimes i think what makes men gay is that they only want to suck and suck then leave. a real man takes responsibility is committed to a relationship.

That's right. I cared for my mother during a very long illness. She just dies a week ago.
All that time I refused to have any relation. I knew, she would have had problems with it.

Single. Most of my friends know i'm gay, but i haven't technically come out, which makes me kind of cautious about pursuing anything. Additionally, the guy I like, who is currently abroad, likes another guy :duh:
