Are you mostly interested in HD porn?

Though I do like to checkout some standard definition porn from time to time, usually when I browse the Gay Heaven Porn forums I'm only looking for HD Porn. I like a wide variety of the various sub-forums- a mix is great, but its HD that I'm mainly looking for. I think it would be great to see an all HD forum introduced, perhaps in the streaming forums. What do you think?

There was an HD section which was closed down a couple of years ago ... it was largely redundant

very few posters posted in the section, and most HD material was posted in the clips or movies sections

with this in mind the section was closed

it is a requirement that specs of each video must be included in the post --- and virtually no one has been producing sd commercial porn for the last 5 years.

Just to add my own reason for my negative answer: Since I'm usually watching porn on my laptop screen, downloading gigantic HD files is nothing but useless overkill.

I mean files over 1 GB for 20-25 minutes video is wacko, effin' ridiculous...

Beyond absurd, especially when nearly half of these bloated gigantic "HD" files aren't even remotely high def. I swear, if I see ONE more blurry pixelated 2GB file from the likes of L@t!n L€ch€ or BMR that were clearly shot with a first-generation iPhone from 2008, I'm gonna pay Angela Bassett to slap that producer into next week.

For a very long time, we had nice compromise files of about 600Mb that looked plenty sharp even on a 32" HDTV. But in the past months, the average has crept up closer to 850-950Mb, which is really annoying for no added quality. Then suddenly, a rush of files over 2Gb for nonsensical things like solos- SOLOS, for Gay Heaven's sake. Who the hell needs 2Gb to see a smooth twink jack off on pastel sheets for 18 minutes? There's not enough going on in the video to merit 400Mb, never mind 2Gb.

And don't get me started on studios like GISP that are pointlessly closing in on 3.2GB: I love you, Austin Wilde, but seriously dude: you ain't Stanley Friggin Kubrick...

I agree the sweet spot is in the 3-500mb range. 1 gb or better is very nice picture quality but it takes soooooo long to download.

I don't mind the low bandwidth if I'm viewing porn for free. I'd sure want it to be in HD if I was buying a website subscription though.

Plus, I like a lot of the amateur, web cam made, porn videos too. And not a lot of those are made in HD. There is some I see from time to time, and when I do I hope it's a good one.
