I was feeling a bit run down at the end of August & went to se the quack on Friday. She reffered me to the Ulster Hospital who kept me in as my red blood cells were low.
Cue 2 blood transfusions later & on the Monday they took bone marrow & discovered Acute Myloid Leaukemia cells in my bone marrow..
Well I did 6 weeks in the heamatology ward in the city hospital,10 days of Chemo & the rest was recovery, which went well apart a bug in the PICC line (a sort of connection that allows blood & stuff to be pumped straight into my heart) which caused my temp to spike.
So que loads of antibiotics as I'm allergic to penacillin! lol
And it was a bloody good job you loose your appetite as the food they served us was,to be blunt, fuckin aweful!!!! (I wouldn't feed it to my worst enemy's dog!)
So I got out Monday night & have been slowly discovering muscles that have wasted away during 6 weeks of being in a hospital bed!
I still feel like luke warn doggy poo but I'm getting there slowly.
