Well, chocolate and all delicious food that taste so good and are so not good for your health
And I think I would give up sex if I had a chance to get my health back and get rid of this "friend" that is slowly doing its damage on me. After all there is so much more in life than sex!

The physical act of sex can be wonderful, exhilarating, breathtaking, emotional . . . but when it is over, the feelings from it disappear.
On the other hand, love and being deeply in love with your partner (male or female) is something that goes far beyond the physical. It surrounds you all the time keeping you safe and at peace. Two people who share the same thoughts, have the same feelings are like one, and there is nothing so wonderful as being in a relationship where you and your partner share so much of yourself.
Those who only have the physical wonders of sex miss out on the other 99% of joy in their life and therefore, their life is empty. A line in a movie once said . . "A life without love is no life at all"
If I had to live a life of sex without love or a life of love without sex, I could easily live without physical contact and chose the life with real everyday love.
Over the past few months I've lost over 80lbs in weight and rediscovered exercise (cycling mainly) - the difference in the way I feel is probably right up there with sex and since it's a sustained feeling possibly better. However in reality, nothing in life - even cheesecake and chocolate is anything like sex, so can't really be compared in my humble opinion!

Very well said Peter! Honestly, it is hard to fathom why such a comment has solicited so many replies. Living allows us all things so there is nothing greater than living. None of the aforementioned would be possible without life. So IMHO nothing could surpass being alive to enjoy all/anything. Seems to me that ego or insecurities were the motivation for such a post and neither justifies one simple reality. You need to be ALIVE to value anything. Be happy you are alive to enjoy sex or anything and everything in your life.
