Thought I'd try posting this here to see if anyone has a solution...
Several years ago, when the D R M format was just being introduced, I was able to download a very hot video clip from the TV portion of a major, bird-related studio's site... I had an account at that time, but have since canceled it. I was able to open this 200mb file from my local HD, at the time, and input my membership password, but, alas, I cannot afford to shell out a monthly membership fee right now....
Long story short: I have the actual file still, but when I open it up, it asks for the D R M password ... I now have the ability to record and save the video image, but it needs to play through at least once. Anyone have any way to "get around" said security feature? or .... and I do hesitate to ask, a login I could use? or, even better, can I send someone the file who has a login, and they record it?
anyway, look forward to hearing your solutions!
thanks guys!
