Boake - worldrecord attempt

In the my part of The Netherlands they have the tradition to make giant fires at Eastern. In Dutch they call it Paasvuur, but in local language Boake. To construct the pyres they use lop. Near the village Holten they are ow building a boake that is planned to get a height of 44 meters, an absolute world record. It seems that their plans will be successful.

Two little video's can give you an idea how. The first is about the pole for the boake, the second is about their last world record. It gives you some information how they build the thing. In the second video you also see some "victims" with "canes", they were so unfortunate to fall of the boake (about 10% of the builders do, they say).
