It turns out Filesonic is back to normal now.

As an uploader, I always try to mirror my files on different filehosts.
But nowadays, filesonic is full of bugs. After I uploaded a file to filesonic, I cant find it in its file manager system, which means I cant get the download links.

Perhaps you personally are having issues with Filesonic. It works to perfection for me, and I've downloaded a lot of material and uploaded some stuff (not to here though) that was easy to link and download.

the mediafire one is really good...and they rarely delete the files.

I 'd rather not use Filesonic 'cause as a free user it is really slow. If the file size is much more than 160megs I don't even bother. It does have resume though which is a godsend.

For some reason Mediafire is now working terrifically. I am amazed as it used to be pretty bad. I wouldn't even bother with it before. Now, not only does it max out my DSL line, but JDownloader automatically fills in the captcha. Totally unattended!

Well it seems like they fixed that issue, I uploaded some files now and it immediately went to filemanager. I think they are installing new servers everyday until everything stabilizes.

I have a years filesonic membership and it still takes almost an hour to download a file.
Any other service will download at 250 - 1000 kb per sec. while filesonic only downloads at 24 kb per sec and that is with a paid membership.

This makes no sense to me and makes me feel I wasted my money on a years membership.

Does anyone else find it the slowest download service that you have paid for?

Perhaps your ISP throttles it and similar server connections. I too have a paid membership to Filesonic and it works very well for me, averaging 600-800kb/sec.

anyways, one trick i use, is, i only join a file sharing service for 3 or 6 months at a time. i started off way back in the day with rapidzhare. then i moved on to hot-file when rapid went down. now that hot-file is clamping down, i have moved on to filezerve.

i might add oron or filezonic too. but for now, filezerve is fine. i use it not just for tranny porn, but i also snag tv shows i missed, and movies.

i hope filezonic and filezerve last a bit tho! the elitists are clamping down on all the sharing sites. so basically it looks like go for short sign ups, this way if the hollywood execs get to the fileshare site you use, you can easily switch to another without too much a finacial loss.

but to me, i look at it like a cable box for 6 bucks a month. so even if i have to bail to another service, it is still saving me money over cable.

and considering i get japanese anime and tv shows that are not released here, i will always need a file sharing service.

I took the plunge and paid for a month of filesonic. Some files download quickly but much more often a file will take over an hour. One was going to take FIVE hours before I cancelled. I wrote them and the reply was that they are going to buy more servers. I feel like I wasted my money and won't be spending any more for filesonic.
