Chaplin's Circus Premiere Footage Time Traveller Mystery

A WOMAN on what looks like a mobile phone has been spotted in the background of a movie. Problem? It was filmed in 1928.

This week, the makers of Back To The Future kicked off celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of the release of the original movie starring Michael J Fox.

In the same week, an Irish independent filmmaker has gone public with what he says is footage of a time traveller caught walking through a scene on a recent DVD release of Charlie Chaplin's 1928 film, The Circus.

"I believe I'm the first person to find something quite unusual from a bit of film footage from 1928," Mr Clarke says.

The scene can be found in the extras menu in Doents, under The Hollywood Premiere.

It's not in the movie - it's real footage and it features real members of the public in 1928.

Well I think:thinking: it's either a faked piece of film, or she had an ear infection or something and was holding a dressing or something else to her ear.

Think about it... if she was a time traveller there would need to be another one for her to have someone to talk to... and more importantly there ain't no cell network in 1928 to handle the phone calls!!!! :no::no::no:

That was my first thought as well. Of coarse, she could be using a cell phone like device to communicate with someone else in the future...

But like many others, i think it was just a primitive hearing aid like this...

Hi Guys Thank you for your opinions The funny part about this topic is the scene can be found in the extras menu on the DVD Only in Doents, under The Hollywood Premiere and not in the actual movie very strange !:rofl:
