Clothed/Unclothed? Do men look better with their clothes on?

Morning all

I was watching something the other day and (as usual) I was waiting for the lead guy to get his shirt off and then he did and it was quite disappointing.
Of course, one can't always expect everyone to be Adonises but I was wondering, are there any porn performers (or indeed mainstream actors) who you wonder why they got to be on camera?

Something of the attraction quotient seems to disappear when clothes are removed. Anyone else agree? :?

All I know is that this is true: You can put any man in a well tailored suit of clothes and he will look fantastic. Very few men can rise to that standard when the clothes come off
So, given the choice - skip the gym and splurge on a good tailor.

If you have a great body you'll look good in almost anything you wear.

I hate that a guy I didn't find interesting all of a sudden became very appealing to me when I saw what was underneath his clothes. :/

Topdog is right about the suits - witness the MAP success (though to be truthful, a lot of those men do look really uncomfortable wearing a suit!). It is interesting that a lot of their stuff, the stars don't take everything off.

I also agree with SirJox. I hate it too when someone I wouldn't have looked at twice removes his shirt and I get an immediate hard-on.

Is that some sort of warning sign? Is our sex drive becoming limited to flesh only?

The majority of people in the world are not pin up material, it's their personality and how thay carry themselves that makes them attractive, then the body becomes very secondary.

We don't have that option with 2D images - models, porn models, etc, so it's the small percentage who have that instant "look" that make it. Unfortunately many think they're the norm and feel inferior.

I've read and heard a lot of bitching about actors, actresses and others who suddenly appear semi-clothed for various parts or events and they don't live up to people's expectations. They're ordinary people underneath like most of us.

In my opinion most people look better clothed, unless you get to know them , giving the ability to seeing something other than just the physical . You then start to see those imperfections as attractive

I don't know about porn stars, but I have certainly seen many guys who look better with their gear on - not necessarily because their bodies are unattractive, but because they know how to wear their clothes to show themselves off.

I have also on many occasions cast an admiring glance at an unclothed guy in the changing room, then watched as he got dressed, and thought to myself that if I had seen him in the street in those clothes I would not have looked twice.

So very true! It's all about the way they carry themselves.
But it's also important that they know what kind of clothes to wear that flatters them. A very attractive man can be unattractive if wearing the "wrong" clothes.

What I can say is that this can go either way because when working in a club, I met a guy who wore his jeans like they were painted on him and they looked so good especially the way the fit was around his ass and he wore tight t-shirts as well that showed off his chest. However, when I finally took him home one night after work, I was totally disappointed when he took off his clothes because his body did not look anything like it did when he wore his skin tight clothing. Also, one of my earlier bfs to me did not look that great in clothes. However, his body was off the chain when he took them off. When would have "naked weekends" and I love the way his body looked without clothes.
