Music. If I could put into words how music touches my enigmatic and problematic soul I could write the greatest novel of all time. After dogs, mans greatest creation.

For the longest time, music in general and my classical guitar in particular. Friends, and now the internet.

First of all I must say the same as RockNLol - my boyfriend. He is always with me if I'm in a depressive or as well in an angry mood. He always helps me to come out of such bitter holes.
But as well good music and the knowledge that the darkest night always will be defeated by the bright morning. And to feel so you must give love and you will get love!

As long as chocolate is still legal I'll always have something to look forward to.

That's what I'll understand, Dargelos. And I hope so deep and sincere that there will be never such an health freak who will made chocolate illegal! I think that would be the moment I will change to an revolutionist! :) :) :)

Swiss chocolate is the perfection of ecstasy if you can afford it. Usualy I have to settle for JD Gross which is cheap and good and German. English chocolate? only to be eaten when desperate.

Sunlight. A cool breeze. A gentle rain on a hot day...

Oh no. Typing this triggered a memory. I may burst into song spontaneously...

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things!

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things!

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eye lashes
Silver white winters that melt into spring
These are a few of my favorite things!

When the dog bites, when the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember
my favorite things
and then I don't feel so bad!

I'm so sorry I couldn't help myself.

This is a great thread and it's all good. Life is beautiful my friends!

Sniffit, how often I've told you that I love you for your good posts - this was one of the best and you gave me the shove to view again one of my fave movies THE SOUND OF MUSIC.

Time is the most comforting thing in my life. With the passage of time, the sadness gets discounted but the happiness remains. Worked great when I broke up with an ex friend of mine.

Hi Ioanna - sorry, but yes I love this film as well as GONE WITH THE WIND -:) ! Shocked? Well to each his own!

And yes it is my dog - 9 years old now. Thank you that you like him. He is my very best friend (whow if my BF is reading this I'll get a poke -:) ) in lucky and in sad days.

And once more yes I've tasted Belgian chocolate as well as German chocolate - but the Swiss one for me is the very best. But as I said, everything is always a matter of taste.
So for instance if you will share a good Margeaux with me - well, I'm yours!!! -:)

I expect Buddy gets better fed than your boyfriend, a dog like that needs fresh food to stay healthy, no sausage or burgers.
