Big Question. Several times recently while watching streaming clips in the "full movies streamed" section; my browser pops up FBI warning windows. I do not know why. This is the only site I visit for this kind of material, as I don't want to infect my computer. As far as I know virus infections are not part of this site. I still don't understand why the warnings 'pop-up'. Can anyone tell me what is happening?

Frankly, it sounds like your computer is infected with something.

I suggest the first thing you do is to run a full scan with your anti-virus and then with your anti-spyware/malware. I have heard of scammers who hack into sites and then infect with this sort of pop-up window, some of them asking for a "fine" of several hundred $... so it may be an attempt to con you out of your cash. What does this "warning" actually say?

Have run thorough battery of scans; ALL of them come out clean. The Warning accuses me of pirating films & or illegal (underage) porn. I have no such on my computer nor will I ever allow such on my computer. The last time this happened I tried to access the 'site' in reverse. It popped up a 504 error code. The streaming video apparently accessed another popup window & I believe that the warning might have been attached to that. As I don't want more popups; I no longer access that part of this site. I tried a screenshot of the warning & got a blank page.

So these are browser windows?

In that case the most likely thing is that they are just 'ads' designed to trick you into clicking a link. Remember, anyone can write any text and put any image they want on the net. Just because it says something doesn't mean it's true. This could be nothing more than scareware. Why waste your time with actual malware when just some text can trick people into doing what you want anyway :)

There is one other thing to be ware of though - it could be being caused by a dodgy browser plugin (assuming you have a browser that has a plugin architecture - i.e. no IE), it might be worth having a look through all your browser plugins and making sure there is nothing there you didn't ask for/don't want.

I have had similar. For me it's an FBI warning, with a picture of Obama himself! It accuses me of underage porn. It says my system is locked up, and I need to send money...
My system was locked up, until I rebooted. Then it was fine.

This happened three times a few months ago. Once on a gay heaven clip thread. It hasn't happened recently.

For me it was an annoyance, but nothing more.
