there is a big crack down on file hosting sites at the moment which can make a site like this go down. hope this do not happen.
i was thinking on other ways to file download. why don't the forums charge the same as a hosting site, which we all have paid, so it would not matter so much. Then down load from ftp strait from ones pc. yes it may be slower but the sites will stay up and running. Have to work round if showing info to ftp page, but there must be a way.
so every one is a winner, the sits stay open, we all get what we want.
maybe as well the forums pay you for a bite or give you credit as the hosing sites do.
lets look on the other hand.your isp is offering download speeds of 20mb to well over 100mb. what would you want that speed for if you cant use it, as downloads and uploading. if you cant download you don't need the speed, so who would buy a large download package. they would lose millions. if it gets to the point where we can only pay are bill and do shooing on line, we mite as-well go to 56k dial up, and that is not going to happen.
at one time all the tube sits was being hit for copy right material, but now you will see the company's from the copy rights advertising on the tube sites
remember in the 70s when people copied the records on to tape, we all don it, but there was never a stink then.
OK people are making money through hosing. if all stops they will make money in other ways as drugs, trafficking, and all the other illegal movements that has great impact on are streets. so would it be better to keep it cyber space.
yes, the film industry and music are losing out, but not allot. film stars and music people still seem to be very well off. when they start living on a budget of a few dollars a week to say 500, then moan. as in most countries that is the reality.
