Deleted Reputation

During the last weeks I noticed that my reputation is continuously deleted.

During the last 90 minutes I received at least 25 "Thank You"s but in sum I have 154 less than before.

Same situation last week, there were more reputation deleted on five days than I "earned" in two or three weeks.

If this couldn't be solved, I'm thinking about retiring from GH.

You might want to check the FAQ about reputation.
Then you may read that the reputation is not only depending on how many "Thanks" you get.

Thank you for the quick answer.

But it also applies to "Thanked xxx.xxx Times" as well.
For example: This morning I had "Thanked 420.250 Times" more than now in the afternoon.

It did count my Thanks.

But I'll look at your numbers tomorrow morning and if something disappears I'll investigate.

I do have an idea, but I want confirmation.

We have an explanation by our tech team now:

It seems that occasionally the techs are supposed to clear things from areas such as the spam and dead folders and this may unfortunately change thanks, post counts and reputation since some of these things were modified by past admins who added different features or modifications to the vBulletin program...Since those add-ons were not part of the original programming, when the mass removal tools they use are used to clean up the forum , it can often affect such numbers.

Since the post count responsible for your rank and the level of your reputation are handled by add-ons, these deletions will not affect them, but the pure numbers will go down and there's nothing anybody can do about it unless we want the forum to run out of server space.

Since we discussed this topic about six months ago (Monty Burns was still in xmas mood) and your team had a closer look at it there were NO more decreasing numbers.
