I just wanted to share how dissapointed I am with this site for supporting such websites as hungbfs.com. This site is a SCAM and charges you hidden membership fees, does not warn you for approval before authorizing charges to your card and not showing you the amount before hand, buries future charge authorizations within the terms of service, and then offers little to no customer service help. They send you in circles when they're "helping" you and put many middle men between you and the people you really need to talk to. This breaks down the communication and usually the response you get from the person who finally does respond to you does not answer the question you asked. And then you start the whole process over again.
Very dissapointed that this site would allow ads from HungBFs to be displayed on any page on this site. Can someone check into the advertisers before you support them and their malpractice.

Thanks for the warning. I hate when these websites take your money and don't give a shit about you afterwards. I hope someone from that site will respond to you and have the decency to provide good customer service... but, in this day and age... I doubt they have the balls. Good luck!

Still DISGUSTED. Clearly you must not care about your members as the penny profit you make from these ads is more important then protecting your members from a scam. SHAME

Sklem211, three things to consider:

1) GayHeaven is free to all users. Someone has to pay the bills for site hosting and bandwidth. Advertising pays for that.

2) Advertising agreements are usually written contracts bound by legal constraints. An advertising host like GayHeaven can't simply ignore the contract because of one user complaint.

3) If a company is ripping you off, dispute the charge with your credit card issuer -- these are called "chargeback rights." By law in most countries they cannot make you pay for disputed charges until and unless the company responds and proves you received the service. If you're in the US, the law is particularly consumer friendly but you must exercise those rights by mailing a letter to the credit card company disputing the charges. (You must, as required by the law, use snail mail, not email.) The back of most credit card statements include information about your chargeback rights. I have successfully disputed quite a few credit card charges over the years, including charges that went into the thousands of dollars. The credit card company backed me up because the company could not provide proof they provided the services they claimed.

It makes NO difference.

1. You have many other advertisers that are legitamite, so pay your bills with the advertisers that you yourself would do business with if you were in our shoes.

2. You owe your members the duty of conducting a little research about your advertisers beforehand BEFORE entering into a contract.

3. AGAIN, why would you put your members in this situation. One where they might be able to dispute the charge, but only if they're lucky enough to live where the laws are relaxed.

The fact of the matter is, misleading advertising is reason enough to void any contract you signed with them. Because you aren't signing up for the advertised site, you're signing up for 5 others.

Your complaints are understandable but GayHeaven isn't responsible for what may have happened to you or others. Secondly, there's no guarantee that GH has a specific choice in who advertises here.

The forum has a duty of care to you the free-loading consumer? That's a bit rich. The advertising JUST covers the costs of running this forum. You should be thankful that it's here at all for you to enjoy, run through mainly the good will of others (the Mod team) to help you get your slice of daily man loving.

If you read the fine-print on their sign-ups, there is no way that they don't have this written in. It's your issue for just checking the 'I accept the T&C' box without reading.

Also, you are able to stop payments from your bank side. Stop the payments, stop the problem.

I'd also add that it's a bit rich that your only 3 posts are complaints against how we keep the forum running for your enjoyment, an enjoyment you've benefitted from since last July without a single posting contribution from yourself !

While we are of course mindful of any dishonesty amongst advertisers we would not knowingly put any member (whether they post or not) at risk, and, as said above, you really need to read what you're signing up to!

1. You have...

2. You owe your members...

3. AGAIN, why would you put your members...

I have no ownership nor management role in this website. I'm simply a user just like you. (I should add that I'm a very happy user because I think the management does an exceptional job running this site.) Before you lash out with your accusations, you might want to determine to whom you are speaking first. One should always gather facts before slinging accusations.

The fact of the matter is, misleading advertising is reason enough to void any contract you signed with them.

No it's not. You don't understand the basics of contract law. You can't simply ignore a contract.

I provided you with a remedy in point three above. Charge-back rights exist in a majority of countries. And the laws are not "relaxed." They're strong to benefit consumers who find themselves in the situation you describe. Have you availed yourself of this remedy?
