do you clip you fingernails or bite them?

How about that stuff you apply to fingernails to make them taste terrible when you put your fingers in your mouth. Does that work as a deterrent?

My mom used to apply some of that stuff to make me stop chewing my fingernails, but I got use to the taste and was liking the stuff clean and than chew them again. Until I met a good friend of mine and putting my fingers way too often up his ass, i stopped chewing them because now it was really tasting funny :rofl:
