here in USA we have "dollar stores" were everything is a buck, do you?

The only things worth buying in Poundland is their cheap multi bags of crisps (chips) or some of the chocolate bars. A lot of the stuff is actually more expensive than the main supermarkets as they are often small sizes of things!

Bought a cheap baking tray in there, useful for oven chips (fries) which is what I got it for, not much good for anything else though lol

There's only one true dollar store in this area. Every other one has now posted signs giving notice that "some items in store are no longer a dollar." Such are the times...
But even still, I would much rather have pound stores...sounds so much more inviting!!!

Like they say, we have pound stores but I'm too poor for those. I look out for the 99p stores instead.

I buy a lot of tools there. They're mostly crap but since I tend to lose all my tools that doesn't matter [wonders whether to go for the cheap "losing tool" jokes but decides better of it].
