I tried to play chess as kid but I didn't like it. I never could remember the moves of the pieces.

I was quite good, but haven't played in years.
I like to watch freeware chess engines playing tournaments (on the free platforms "Arena" and "Winboard").
And I like to solve chess problems myself, but there is also a very good -and free!- mate solver, which is able to solve very difficult mate problems within seconds...
