I growed up and live in porobably most atheistic society on the World. And I'm glad about it. Althought I'm not total atheist cos when I have any problems that I can't solve by myself I allways hope for some higher power to help me. So I would say I'm agnostic too. But I really can't stand all these Bishops, Cardinals and Pope who is nonstop moralising about things which absoletely aren't their bussiness and They absolutely don't understand it neither want to understand it.

I am and always have been a non-conformist. I am a doubter, not a believer. Not a dedicated follower of fashion. Mankind exists about 200.000 years (science claims). Excavations show that people always believed in higher powers. But their absolute truth was over and over again replaced by a new absolute truth. Christianity is our modern view of absolute truth. It exists now about 0,01% of the time humans exist. Probably it will be replaced somewhere in the future. People will find a new absolute truth. Am I sure about that? No, as I said, I am a doubter.

The day those Men in dresses find a real solution to social issues I will go back in church in suck a priest without him asking.;) And that pope Benedict I really really really don't like him, I had more respect for Carol (John Paul II) although I never really shared any of his views... I found it so dumb that his death was televised. He's just a damn man

Great calendar? Are you referring to the countless times they've predicted Jesus would come and he just didn't show up? :p

My mother is Methodist, my father Lutheran, my step father Baptist, and I went to Catholic school. I'm Atheist...

I still think that my mother sent me to Catholic school to piss off my father. They divorced a year before I started school and he refused to help pay the tuition for me to go to the more expensive Lutheran school.

***Side note...

Since this is a perfect opening for priest bashing...

A friend was keeping me company one day while I was working in a liquor store when a priest, in full ceremonial robes, came in and asked for a half-gallon (1.75L) of vodka. After he paid and left, my friend just looked at me like, WTF? To which I responded...

"The alter boys are having their weekly sleep over at the parish house tonight..."

For namesake Roman Catholic, but I've unfollwed that since very young although i attended a Catholic school at primary level. The reason i think might be my mom's side not so religious and my dad's side mildly religious, so it's kinda diluted so to speak :D When i was 14 I've an aunt who i willingly accompanied to Sunday mass (and believe it or not for the first time in my life). But the time we arrived to the church the mass was almost over, a disappointment to me 'cause that was a one lifetime chance..and no I'm not renewing the idea to attend a Sunday mass. The church is quite a serene place to be but not on Sundays. So that sums up how nonreligious i am, but i do have respect for religious fellows.

Man! Alexandrian sounds Greek-y to me :D Should you introduce your Greek god to the world  you might end up converting a lot of people into Alexandrian! LOL

I was raised Roman Catholic but now have no faith in the supernatural.

There's an ongoing discussion among faithless persons about atheism vs agnosticism. Some hold that atheism is also a "faith" because it professes a "belief" in something that's impossible to prove. I don't have a strong opinion on that, but I have a scientific background and I don't find any reason to believe or disbelieve in the supernatural, so I think of myself as agnostic.

I was born a Roman Catholic, but not really raised that way any more than what was needed to keep up appearances in 1980s Ireland.

I've never liked the work "atheist", so for a long time I wasn't sure what I was, but I recently discovered that I'm an Agnostic Humanist, so now I have a label that actually fits for the first time ever :)

Nope that one is Australian, I did share him with the world... but some people got a little bit green with envy or jealousy (or both) and since then I am totally forbidden by my God and husband to socially share him (since I want to continue to pray his ass and love his wisdom (pfff  uh wisdom) for a very very long time to come I respect and apply his wish)... privately it's another story.

Alex isn't Jesus Christ he doesn't need a covenant filled with faked wives commonly called "Flying Nun or the Smiley Nun" - Dominique nique nique

Here's the first verse in English... have fun and pray the Lard for he is greasy for our sins :)

Dominique, nique, nique
Goes along very simply
Traveling in poverty and singing.
On every road, in every place,
He just talks about the Lord,
He just talks about the Lord.
