Embedded Youtube vids not displaying

All Youtube vids embedded on GH are not displaying, for me anyway.

I am using Windows 10, Chrome -but I also tried the Edge Browser and they didn't display with that either.

Anyone else having the same problem? Anyone using Windows 10 and Chrome having the same problem?

Seems like the issue is effecting Windows 10 users.

While I cannot see YT vids here, I can see other kinds of embedded vids, such as xvideos, redtube and vimeo.

However, Youtube is the biggie, especially for the Gay-themed Streams and Music Discussion areas.

W10 and chrome



Weird... I posted some videos couple weeks ago and didn't have any problems, and now none of them open -> only that black screen

Win 7 and Chrome here, and I can't see the embedded YT videos either.

This is definitely a client-side issue, not something on the server or forum software.

YouTube uses HTML 5 video rather than Flash when it can, so it could be an issue with codecs on the computer.

It could also be an issue with a plugin blocking or interferring the content in some way.

The fact that some users are reporting that the videos also don't play in Edge suggests a codec problem rather than a plugin, since plugins are browser-specific.

Another perpetual culprit is bad AV software. Modern AV software buts its nose in all over the place, and can cause all sorts of dumb problems.
