Random game rant!

So I'm totally excited for this game (hoping everyone else is as well). Five player match-up. Four players play a team of hunters. One player plays the monster they need to hunt. Gameplay footage shows a huge landscape which allows for a lot of strategy on both ends, since the monster starts out weak and needs to avoid the other players while it increases its strength, and if it gets strong enough the hunters may need to regroup and avoid it for a time. I believe the only thing that might hinder this game is the monster itself. If this Goliath that we've been seeing is the only monster available, I could see the replay value taking a huge hit. I'd love to see some variety in the monster itself. Maybe a flying type or something with varied abilities. Very similar to the special zombies in L4D. I'd love to see a similar take on the these giant monsters.

Still, game looks pretty awesome. I was gonna wait until Final Fantasy XV, but I just may need to go grab me a PS4 a little earlier.

I agree If there is only one monster the games gonna get really repetative

As far as I know, there've been three or four different monsters shown so far, so there won't just be one type.

I was thinking that it looks seriously creative- is there gonna be any split-screen option?

Not sure on the split-screen option, but I don't see why not. It'll probably have a similar system to Left 4 Dead.

And now that more time has passed, I'm loving the reveal of new monsters. I'm curious about integrating a flying type monster, but maybe those matches would be too unbalanced. The levels seem like they'd be too huge to keep up with a winged opponent.

I plan on getting it when it comes out. Since its been push back to next year.

I get bummed by delays, but then I really appreciate the fact that they're not being forced to release something they're not fully proud of. I know how tough it is working on development like this, and nothing sucks more than a forced deadline. I have really high hopes for this game and I'm loving the designs for their monsters. I think it's gonna be great.

UPDATE: I'm loving the new Wraith character!
