Filesonic is S-L-O-W

For free downloads, Filesonic is terrible (18-50 kb/sec vs 200+ for Hotfile & others. If this is a deliberate ploy to force upgrades, it's counterproductive; if it's unintentional, Filesonic should fix it asap.

In the meantime, posters who want people to download what they are generously sharing would do well to avoid this service.

Wouldn't it be better for all of us to agree to one server? I have a HF account, but there are so many different filehosting sites out there, I can't buy them all. I do have money to pay for pornsites but don't since I don't want my identity to be exposed in any way. If only porn sites accept vanilla cards...

Unfortunately, some services are entirely inaccessible in certain countries. In some countries, for example, only MegaUpload can be accessed, while in other countries MegaUpload is entirely inaccessible. Same for Hotfile and all the other major services.

I have to agree, for free users Filesonic is unpredictable at times annoying. I just refrain from downloading vids using Filesonic, but if there's a vid that's too good to download and uses this filehost I can't help it. :?

I recently signed up for FileSonic and the service is still just as slow as it was on the free side. Like 25kbps slow. :angry:

And it won't work with my download manger.

Why does anyone use this service when HF and FileServe are so fast?

I'm from Mexico and I can download around 80 Kbps in the day. At night I can download more than 170 kbps. For my it's the best server.

The only download manager that would work with Filesonic is Jdownloader.
