Filesonic is SLOW

For free downloads, Filesonic is terrible (18-50 kb/sec vs 200+ for Hotfile & others. If this is a deliberate ploy to force upgrades, it's counterproductive; if it's unintentional, Filesonic should fix it asap.

I'm getting about 200+ d/l speed from Filesonic using a free account. Where are you located?

Well I've started getting this message whenever I try to d/load the first file:

Download Error: Free users may only download 1 file at a time.

The last time this happened it stopped me from d/loading anything on Filesonic for nearly 6 weeks~X(~X(

And as for using Oron as a free user - a waiting time between d/loads of between 5 and 11 hours is just a fucking joke:no::no::no:

Their business model, like other download hosts, is to entice you to spend money to get the best service. I do subscribe to both Filesonic and Hotfile, as I have found them to be the most reliable and the cheapest for the service rendered. Right in line would be MegaUpload as a good and fast service. I doubt that tany of them see their models as counterproductive, as their volume of subscribers probably earns them a handsome profit each month, and the subscription price is quite low - check out the various banner ads on this site that pop up for Filesonic.
