Firefox or avast blocking certain pages of sites

There's another porn forum I've been using for almost 15 years but firefox or avast started blocking the gay sub forum last fall. I can get to the gay sub sub forum though.

Can someone tell me how to fix this? I posted there and emailed the administrators but no one replied.

Prob Avast that is identifing that page as high risk. Test if it is by disabling Avast, right click its little icon > Avast Shields Control > Disable for 10 minutes. Restart Firefox, if it now allows you into that page you know that Avast is guilty. If you know that this page is safe, you can set up an exception. Once the shields have turned themselves back on again, try to get into that page again, when it refuses to play ball, select the advanced menu and set an exception. I cant recall exactly how to do this but there are plenty of HowTos out there.

Java is not Javascript, Javascript is not Java. I cant actually find a way to natively, wholesale block Javascript in Firefox 50, but you may have an Add-on such as Ghostery or NoScript that is blocking Javascript on What-If.
