This may same silly to some but how to you discreetly flirt with a guy. I have been looking online and a lot say make eye contact and smile but we're I live every one does that so how do you know if he's flirting and how do I flirt back. I've never flirted with any one before.

I think what @otage said is correct. Get to the friend level first. Somehow? I don't really know how to suddenly go up to some guy and 'make friends'.

I think for me, my tell (hint that I am flirting) is when I smile and laugh a lot while looking at the person intently. As a result, I use that as a gauge to whether someone else is flirting with me. Basically its the attention he gives me that tells me about the attraction, or whether it is just a 'friends' thing
