So, I was just watching the news and saw a bit about 3 hikers from America now being detained in Iran since the end of July. It seems of all the fucking places in the world to hike, they chose the beautifully barren Iraqi Kurdistan mountains. At some point, they apparently and by accident slipped into Iran, were captured and are now being held in Tehran.

Now I have sympathy with their plight, am not a great fan of Iran and from the looks of them (2 guys and one girl) they couldn't harm a fly, but I still must ask, why would you tempt fate and WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU CHOSE THAT AREA WITH ALL THE AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL PLACES IN THE WORLD TO HIKE?

It always amazes me too, why choose an area which is obviously a dangerous place to be ?
