The Royal Dutch Football Association (de Koninklijke Nederlandse Voetbal Bond) started together with a TV station a campaign to stimulate the acceptance of Gay sportsmen and also their coming out of the closet. Their initiative is really great, I think, but the quality of the clips? I have some doubts.
This is one of their clips.
(In Dutch: homo boeit geen flikker. It is a bit of a word game. Homo is gay and flikker is slang for gay. So together it means: being gay is no point).
What do you think?

I think it's good. At least in my country (which is quite gayfriendly in general) is still lot of people who think that a gay has to be slim guy in tight pink t-shirt with extravagant haircut style. And sport what he could do are dancing and figure-skating at most.
As I see it, message of this clip is "Being gay doesn't mean being Nancy." and "Being in closet(here exactly), is not comfortable and it interfers." And its absolutely true. Not only in football. So really good video I would say.

Regardless of the quality of the movies is a useful initiative and commendable.

Yes, it's about time. In Jirmeny gay football-players are a topic too which gets a lot of attention. Maybe the jirmen Football association will take an example at our neighbors. The clip is okay I think.

Loved it now let's see if Uganda can do better hahahaha! Never will happen this nation is the most anti-gay nation I ever known. But I like the concept, no matter if the pictures aren't the best, the message it carries is much more important.

It's a real step. Pro sports is one of the last homophobic centers of mass culture. Here in the states, the teams have insisted that the players SHUT THE FUCK UP with the gay slurs. But that's as far as it has gone. We are still waiting for a major sports icon to come out.
