Has anyone subscribed to one before? How is your experience with it?

I want to get a premium membership to one but sense there might be a gotcha or loophole in the fine print of their agreement and I can't get a direct, definitive answer to my questions.

I'm suspicious because for the duration of the membership, you're supposed to be able to download despite having a low ratio because you're not affected by it. A life time membership should therefore enable me to download as much as I want forever, so why add 2 terabytes to my upload ratio?

Can I refer to it if I use symbols in their name?

I wouldn't pay for a premium membership to any torrent sites. If you're resourceful enough you can pretty much find any videos you want online. There are other search engines besides Google that will help you find what you want, torrents or otherwise.

Torrents survive by peers. Few pay for torrents. If a site requires a ratio and makes you pay if you can't maintain it, I'd be concerned it was a scam. Like XenoClock said, you can get torrents elsewhere. Some sites you have to sign up for but they are like GH you don't pay for it.

I can think of 3 sites. The first requires a ridiculously high ratio and you have to keep seeding for weeks to get anything up at all. It seems most of us can't download much outside of free leech. The second is similar but with a lower requirement. The third has no requirement but anything beyond 3 weeks old may not be seeded.
