Congratulations on getting a new position so soon! (even if it doesn't start for a little while)

Not sure where you live, but maybe you can pick up a short-term gig or two between now and then. Craigslist often has listings like that. At least it would keep a little $ flowing in in the meantime.

You do some great work on here -- thanks! And, like some others have said, maybe you can parlay your computer skills into paying work, too.

Good news , a lil bad news I did get a new job but it does not start till the end of aug.

The money is about the same ---hr but I can make much more over time and if i go out of town up to ---- a hr and I really think this is a better job for me then what i did have now i just have to wait...

I worked for a mortgage, now im going to work for a cleaning company waxing floors and cleaning rugs wich i did when i was in college its hard work but i always liked it very much.......

You can also take advantage of this time off to do things you could never do while being employed. Travel, or take the time to learn something new. Write, paint, learn music. This time off is a gift.
