MATTHEW Morrison, who plays teacher Will Schuester on the hit musical series, is still adjusting to his sex symbol status.

The actor, who strips off to reveal an enviable six-pack in Details magazine, admitts: "I'm not comfortable with the idea of my sex appeal, but I know in my job I have to use it. I wish I could say I got to this point in my career based on my talent, but I don't think that's true."

Despite having been linked to Cameron Diaz and model Kelly Brook, the 32-year-old confesses that when it comes to dating: "it's been a while."

"Meeting people, you wonder, 'What does this person see in me?' 'That's not where his head is at."

Morrison, who says Glee consumes 15 hours a day, offers a guiding hand to the show's young stars.

I think he's cute with a great body, but in no way a sex symbol in my opinion. Watching him rap 'Bust a Move' on glee, pretty much sucked all the sexiness out of him for me.
