Great movie suggestions

I started to watch foreign films and currently one of my favorite is called "Patrick age 1,5" , it's about a gay couple try to adopt a baby but there is a technicality going on so they accidentally adopt a 15 y.o boy instead and basically how they resolved the situation. Love the story, and I was wondering if there any other foreign movie suggestions that you guys would think it's great.

Pedro Almodovar movies are always worth watching, even if they can be a bit manic I would say that his best one is Matador it`s dark, but at the same time quite sexy and chic.

I think you should look into the subforum "Gay Themed Movies" in the "Entertainment"-forum here on GH !! You'll find shiploads of great suggestions & many guys very knowledgeable on movies, modern and classics!

I like Almodóvar's movies just like arsefanatic does, but my personal fave definitely is Bad Education (Mala educación) - all because of Gael García Bernal, such a great actor and such an extremely sexy manbitch !!!

But there's one thing I don't understand: What do you mean by "foreign films" ? Since "Patrik 1,5" ("Patrik age 1,5") is a swedish film and I'm a swedish guy myself, it feels rather strange to read that it's a "foreign film"...

foreign film means a film produce outside your respective country meaning for you it's your local movie but as for me which I don't live in Sweden, mean as a foreign films.. nothing big really

I watched a fantastic French movie, a couple of nights ago. La tourneuse de pages The page turner, directed by Denis Dercourt. It`s a revenge thriller and very well acted. Melanie is an aspiring pianist who gets a chance to perform for Ariane Fouchecourt, a renowned concert pianist. Because of Ariane`s stupidity, Melanie does not perform well and her career as a pianist ends there. Years later, Melanie is employed as an au pair at Ariane`s home and takes cold revenge on Ariane and her family. It`s a brilliant movie !!

Absolutely. There is a campaign to give Alan Turing a posthumous Royal pardon, in the UK. I wonder who would play Turing in a film version?

It was definitely best imo, I mean, I guess if an attractive cast is a MUST for someone then I'd recommend the American remake, but if that doesn't matter to them then definitely go with the original.
