The days start getting shorter now on the way to the winter solstice with a short stop in the middle for autumnal equinox. For some reason I like summer solstice best. Longest day an all that I guess. Back in the day it meant more time to play outside before dark!

I can definitely say that in the parts of Sweden where I live we had a lot more summer on 22 May than on 22 June...

I was out doing some errands a couple of hours ago - I just had to put on a jacket...it felt more like late September/early October than Midsummer

Same shit weather here...it was 32C yesterday...only 11C on the second day of summer...
