Hi everyone, I wish to draw to members attention a recent video from alph@topw0lf22 (name changed slightly to stop being flagged etc.), who has a OF channel.
His content is lovely, especially for those who love a burly, stocky bearded bear who partners with twink or jock-ish partners. Nothing of his video is anything wrong.
He posted a collab video between himself and chr1spapixl.
However, I found on another share group a R@pidgator file that appears to have been manipulated, with bigoted, h@teful and frankly homophobic wording at the top: "WARNING: SODOMY IS AN ABOMINATION AND CAUSES AIDS" (all caps), in faint lettering at the top of the video. It isn't apparent or noticeable if watching on a phone or smaller device, but on a large screen, it can be clearly seen.
From the file sizes, it appears that the original file size of 1.51gb has increased to 1.63gb after this h@teful watermark was added, so it seems clear that digital manipulation has happened. What's also of concern is if this is a one-off targeting random files, or a specific OF creator, or is there an automated process behind the scenes trying to re-encode (infect?) as many files as possible to upset folks?
Have such awful tactics been used elsewhere? Thanks.
