I fuck with an ex from time to time. We were together for 8 months 7 years ago. We are now good friends, I trust him and I really care for him, but we aren't interested in each other in a romantic way anymore. I can't explain it really well (also, I don't speak english, so it's kinda hard for me to write in this language), but it's like we still have this sexual connection.

Well I don't know about that, haven't really never seriously dated, but there's always a some reason why my hook-ups and what-nots haven't evolved in to relationships, and I wouldn't touch any of them even with a long stick anymore. What is over is over. But with someone you've been for 8 months before, don't you fear your feelings could get warm again, and his doesn't, and then there's heartbrake, maybe again?

If it works for you To me sex is always more than just sex. I quite often turn down those 'wanna fuck' offers, cause I wanna cuddle, be together (and after that ditch the guy, because of some stupid reason) and be in 'love' for the time it lasts. I almost always have the idea, that I'm looking for relationship, but I'm starting to doubt it myself:rofl: I have so may others interest and passions, and limited time, that I rather do somenthing with those than just have it off with someone. That's right. I didn't know I could be myself in this kind of relationship until it happens. It wasn't planned and we feel good about it. It's more than two years doing this. But overall, it's my friend and I think that's more important.
