HBO versus HBO GO

I have HBO through my cable provider and it is $30.00 a month. I also have Roku which offers HBO GO for only $14.95 a month. I have looked on google and it seems confusing as to if you get the same material with HBO GO as with cable. I am hoping someone here has had both or knows if there is a difference. Thanks
