Help please with avi's

Can anyone help please. I can't play back any avi videoes when I have downloaded them I use windows vista. Is there anything I am doing wrong. Its a shame as there are lots more "hot" avi's to download than wmv's

I'm presuming you have joined the required sections OK?..

If so it might be a player problem... Here is a list, with d/load links, for FREE media players... I suggest you try the KMPlayer or the VLC Player first..

Your probably just missing some codecs for Windows media player.
Generally when you try to play a file with a codec you don't have, a window comes up saying player can't play file
for ?? reason.
Try Microsofts website concerning the media player. There are several downloads for codecs.

Good point Tom, it may be a codec problem rather than a player ...K-Lite codec pack here:
