I just received an e-mail of no-reply-support@hotfile.com in whitch was written:

Dear Client,

We are sorry to inform you that there has been an issue with your payment. In this connection, we would kindly ask you to re-enter your payment details using the below link.

I think it's a phishing attack. What do you think? If I go to my account online, never is marked, that theres a problem. What should I do, guy's?

Did u read it in the spam box? Did u check your hotfile account? And if it's free, I think it's probably a phishing attack but keep on investigating if ur not sure.

Yes, I do also think this is a phishing attack... just get rid of the mail as long as there's no problem to be seen in your account.

My guess is that it is almost certainly phishing, so do not reply. To be certain why not contact Hotfile via their web page and ask if they ever send out this sort of e-mail.

I get all sorts of stuff like that every day !! All immediately goes into the spam box if it's not there automatically!

As a general rule, never answer any e-mail like that, whoever you think it's from.

As Slim touched upon. If you ever have any doubts about the legitimacy of an email or contact, simply contact the company directly through their website or an email address listed on their official page. They will be able to confirm for you there whether it's really from them or not. Never take risks with your account details for anywhere =)

I check the headers to see where it really came from.
You can always mask the name, but never the true address: eg.
Received: from mm-notify-out-209-61.amazon.com ([72.21.209.61]
Then trace the 72.21.209.61 and it shows it is really from Amazon.com.
And if I trace it and get back something that says domain in Asia, or India, etc. I know it's
fake.
